Privacy Statement

1.0 Collection, Use and Retention of information at www.horleychurch.org

We collect information for each visitor about the date and time of the visit, their Internet Protocol address, type of browser used, and the Internet Protocol addresses of the locations to which the visitors linked during their visit to our Web site. This information is used for statistical reporting purposes only. We recognize that there are Acts that regulates Web sites on collecting of personal information on visitors under 18 years of age. It is not out intention to collect information on anyone we know to be under 18 years of age. In the event that such information is inadvertently collected, the legal guardian or minor's parent may contact Horley Church Board for a description of the specific personal information collected from the minor and the options available to them under law to ensure the minor's safety. When visitors volunteer to subscribe to www.horleychurch.org we collect, retain and use personal information other than that mentioned above and use personal information where we believe it is allowed by law for the purpose of administering our business and to provide services commensurate with a registered christian charity. We will not use any names unless the individual concerned has given us the permission to do so.

2.0 Cookies

Cookies are small files either sent to visitors computers or stored on a server. Our web pages and or applications that use cookies will identify themselves as such. This information is handled in the same way as other user information obtained by www.horleychurch.org. No user information is gathered through cookies except for that needed to run some specific applications or services.

www.horleychurch.org does not sell or rent out visitors' information to any other organization or company. We have a policy not to reveal specific information about visitors or other personally identifiable data to unaffiliated third parties for their independent use as required by the Data Protection Act. The exception to this rule is when we are required to do so by relevant legislative Acts or other laws. We maintain security standards and procedures regarding unauthorized access to visitors' information to prevent unauthorized alteration or removal of such of data in the configuration of our site. www.horleychurch.org has established procedures to ensure that information is as current and accurate as practically possible, to enable the conduct of business and service with its christian members. We will respond to requests to correct inaccurate information in a timely manner although we strive to do things right the first time.
